Changes are underway in the vicinity of Australia’s Brisbane Airport and they include a new 156-room hotel – Novotel Brisbane Airport, which is scheduled for completion by October.
It is being built on an 8,000-square-metre block of land at 1 Airport Drive and will be part of a retail, commercial and recreational precinct that will also comprise a discounted shopping mall, supermarket and a golf course.
The new Novotel hotel will feature a six-storey atrium and a glass-ended, cantilevered rooftop pool and recreation space, as well as a lobby bar, an à la carte restaurant and six meeting rooms.
Accor’s four-star Novotel brand is the latest to join the likes of Quality Inn and Best Western airport hotels in Brisbane. It will be the second Novotel in the city after the Novotel Brisbane Hotel, which opened in 1995 in the central business district.
