Marriott Rewards offers bonus miles

Marriott Rewards has launched a new promotion enabling members to earn more miles per stay with partner airlines.
The MegaMiles promotion enables guests at any Marriott property, across all its brands, to earn 2,000 bonus miles for each stay from the second stay onwards and up to a maximum of 50,000 miles. These miles will be on top of the usual base miles earned when staying at a Marriott property. The promotion applies to stays between January 1 and April 30, 2012, where a stay is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check in/check out activity.
Marriott Rewards members must register online and make sure that they switch from earning Marriott points to earning miles as members cannot do both at the same time. Stays at the group’s partner hotel, Ritz-Carlton, will also be counted as part of the promotion. Non-members can join the loyalty programme and will automatically be registered to partake in this promotion.
Airlines participating in the promotion include Aeromexico, Air Canada, Air China, Alitalia, Asiana Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific, China Eastern, China Southern, Delta Air, Emirates, JAL, Kingfisher, KLM, Lufthansa, United Airlines and Virgin Atlantic.
