Lufthansa’s new first class cabin, released earlier this year, will now feature regularly between Hong Kong and Frankfurt after being fitted on to the airline's fleet of Boeing 747-400 aircraft.
The new cabin is now even more exclusive as it only serves up to eight passengers, instead of 16, with each getting both a seat and a bed in a unique 1-1 configuration (see previous coverage here).

The carrier is poised to take delivery of new B747-800 aircraft by early next year, which may also be fitted with this new first class product.
Lufthansa recently deployed its Airbus A380 on the Frankfurt-Singapore route, making the Lion City the third Asian destination to be served by the airline's superjumbo (see story here).
