Langham Hotels International enters the Middle East in 2012 with the 250-room Langham Place Doha.
Occupying the city’s next architectural landmark, the Al Shemoukh Towers (meaning “standing proud” in Arabic), Langham’s future outpost will consist, not only of guestrooms measuring from 40sqm but also 40 serviced apartments, all equipped with the chain’s enhanced entertainment systems and the latest in internet connectivity.
Aware that today’s guests work and play in the same space, novel features will include DJs spinning in the lobby and by the pool, innovative experiences such as a beach club in an urban setting and a chocolate bar. The Chuan Spa, Langham hotel's signature spa, will introduce treatments using Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) into the region.
For the business traveller, the hotel will include a ballroom, meeting studios and concierge services.
