Japan Airlines (JAL) announced that its first Boeing B787-800 Dreamliner aircraft will also fly to New Delhi, Moscow and Beijing.
Masaru Onishi, president of the JAL Group, stated that the aircraft will be introduced on the Narita-New Delhi, Narita-Moscow and Haneda-Beijing routes due to a high demand from business travellers.
These routes will be in addition to the previously announced Narita-Boston route (see story here), which will commence on April 22, 2012. However, exact delivery dates of the Dreamliners have not yet been announced and therefore launch dates of these three routes have not been finalised.
Onishi also revealed that JAL’s Dreamliner would feature the world’s first electronic Japanese comics, known as manga, as part of its inflight entertainment system, which will only be available in Japanese at first and will eventually include English versions in the future.
