Cathay Pacific to fly non-stop to Boston

22 Aug 2014 by Clement Huang
Cathay Pacific (CX) will launch a four-times weekly service between its base in Hong Kong and Boston from May 2015. According to airlineroute.net, the carrier will serve the US city with a four-class Boeing 777-300ER, with six suites in first class, 53 seats in business, 34 in premium economy and 182 in economy. The North American expansion by CX is not surprising, given that the carrier announced very healthy growth of its long-haul services in its recent financial report. Reservation services for the route have just opened on the Cathay Pacific website, with the launch date currently slated for May 2, 2015 for the outbound leg. Flight CX812 will depart from Hong Kong every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 1800 and arrive in Boston Logan International Airport at 2130. Meanwhile, the return flight will operate every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and sees flight CX811 leave Boston at 0145 before arriving back in Hong Kong International Airport at 0535 the following day. Boston is the airline’s fifth destination in the US. For more information, visit cathaypacific.com Clement Huang
