Accor has opened the Novotel Bangkok Platinum in the heart of Bangkok’s shopping district. The property is situated on the sixth to the 25th floor of the Platinum Fashion Mall. It is a 45-minute drive from the Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport, and a 10-minute walk to the BTS SkyTrain Chidlom station, Siam Square and Siam Paragon.
The hotel features 283 guests rooms and suites with spacious modern design and colourful décor. For dining, the hotel has all-day dining restaurant, The Square, the Platinum Lounge and the Pool Bar for snacks and cocktails.
In a sign that things are returning to normal after the recent floods, this is the second hotel to open in Bangkok this month. On December 1, Starwood introduced its Aloft brand to the city (see story here). In total, Novotel has 11 properties in Thailand.
