Air France returns to Cambodia in March 2011

On March 27, 2011, Air France will resume flights to Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia, after a 35-year interval. The carrier used to serve its former colony from the early fifties until 1975, when the Khmer Rouge came into power.
The thrice weekly flights, between Paris and Phonm Penh via Bangkok, will utilise an Airbus A340-300, then eventually, a Boeing B777-200.
The aircraft departs from Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 1930 and arrives in Bangkok at 1150 the next day (local time). From there, it departs at 1320 and arrives in Phnom Penh at 1435.
The return flight leaves Phonm Penh on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 2015 and lands in Bangkok at 2130. From Bangkok, the aircraft leaves at 2255 on the same day and arrives in Paris at 0610 the following day.
