ANA has announced details of its latest Star Wars-themed aircraft, as part of a five-year agreement with Walt Disney.
The carrier already operates three aircraft with special liveries from the film franchise – The Star Wars ANA Jet, the BB-8 ANA Jet, and the R2-D2 ANA Jet.
The fourth aircraft in the series will feature a livery inspired by iconic Star Wars character C-3PO. The B777-200 will fly on domestic routes from the end of March next year.
ANA said that “The partnership with Star Wars, beloved by audiences in Japan and around the globe, is a perfect match as Japan’s largest airline seeks to connect travellers around the world through this project”.
The latest film in the series – Rogue One: A Star Wars Story – is set to be released this December.
