Fans of Hyatt’s upscale Park Hyatt brand will be pleased to know the hotel’s first property in Thailand – Park Hyatt Bangkok – officially opened its doors on Friday, some three years after its originally scheduled 2014 launch.
“We are excited to open Park Hyatt Bangkok in this incredible city that is full of culture, history and a rich sense of place,” said the hotel’s general manager, Michael Golden. “Our goal is to make all of our guests feel welcome and very much at home with highly personalised service in a luxurious and sophisticated environment.”
The property is located in the heart of the city’s central business district, occupying levels nine to 36 of the Central Embassy mixed-use complex. Travellers familiar with the brand’s flagship Park Hyatt New York hotel are likely to see certain similarities with the design of the new Bangkok property, as both were realised by New York-based design firm Yabu Pushelberg.
A total of 222 rooms and suites with about 57 configurations are available, offering numerous adjustments such as bathrooms with or without windows.
