The Shilla Hotels and Resorts has opened two new properties in South Korea under its high-end business brand, Shilla Stay.
Opened on April 1, the Shilla Stay Seocho – located in Seoul’s Gangnam commercial district a short distance from the Coex Mall and MICE facilities – offers a hotel experience with 305 guestrooms across three categories. The hotel also has communal spaces, such as its Guest Lounge with self-service amenities such as laundry and microwave facilities, along with six customisable meetings and events rooms, and a flagship restaurant, Cafe.
Meanwhile the Shilla Stay Haeundae, which opened on Tuesday, provides a more residential feel near to Busan’s Haeundae Beach. Six residential-style room types, including an authentic Korean Ondol Suite, are available. The brand’s Cafe flagship restaurant is also present at the Busan property, which is also accompanied by a poolside bar next to the rooftop pool.
“Shilla Stay Haeundae is the brand’s first property to launch in Busan, and we look forward to bringing the ‘Smarter Stay’ values to a growing market of business and leisure travellers to Korea,” said Tae Ju Park, general manager of Shilla Stay Busan.
Both new properties are currently offering promotional packages, with the Seocho hotel’s available until April 30 and the Busan property’s running until May 31.
Established in 2013, the Shilla Stay brand currently has 11 properties in South Korea within its portfolio.
