A new 91-room boutique hotel and serviced residence is set to open this month in the Tai Hang neighbourhood, close to Causeway Bay.
Little Tai Hang has been created with a strong design “which celebrates the character and charm of Hong Kong with bespoke, artisanal touches”.
The property offers a selection of studio (33-50 sqm), one- (43-74 sqm) and two-bedroom (75 sqm) units, with a variety of views ranging from harbour-facing to those looking over Victoria Park.
All rooms include complimentary wifi, local phone calls, full pantry and appliances, iron and hi-fi sound system.
On-site amenities include a 24-hour fitness room, lounge and laundry room with complimentary self-service facilities, or a pick-up dry-cleaning service at an added charge. A multipurpose event room is also available for booking.
Also housed within the Little Tai Hang complex are two modern F&B options: Second Draft, billed as “a convivial neighbourhood gastropub”, offers locally brewed craft beers by the Young Master Brewery along with creative dishes by the award-winning chef May Chow, while Bond restaurant (from the co-founder of Three Monkeys) offers up casual comfort food.
“As a Hong Konger myself, I am excited about what the city has to offer, and so we designed Little Tai Hang to bring Hong Kong’s unique modern culture into the living space while providing an upscale experience for business and leisure travellers alike,” said Tommy Watari Pao, the founder and creative mind behind Little Tai Hang.
“Sophisticated yet down-to-earth, quiet yet in the heart of the city – these contrasts bring an edge to the property that we hope appeals to those looking for something off the beaten track yet totally accessible.”
The property is now accepting bookings for March 27 onwards. Internet rates for a Studio Standard Garden View room start from HK$1,216 (US$157) per night, inclusive of tax and service charge.
