Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group has opened its first Park Inn by Radisson property in China in the country’s south-western Guizhou province. The Park Inn by Radisson Libo, located approximately three hours’ drive from the province’s capital Guiyang, is about 40 minutes from Libo Airport and a half hour from downtown Libo.

The hotel is situated by the east entrance of the Xiaoqikong National Park and makes use of its surrounds by offering views of the nearby Zhangjiang River from its 182 rooms. Meanwhile, Libo’s heritage and various minority cultures, including Buyi, Miao, Shui and Yao nationalities, are showcased in its all-day dining Ly Café, which offers local cuisines as well as international fare. In addition to its dining facilities, the hotel also has a 181-sqm ballroom and four function rooms.

“The opening of the Park Inn by Radisson Libo benefits the market for travellers seeking a trusted international hotel brand that delivers on both product and service,” said Thomas Hagemann, vice president, future openings and special projects for Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group, Asia Pacific. “With its unique brand concepts and renowned ‘Yes I Can’ service philosophy, the hotel is poised to cater to both business and leisure travellers.”

According to the hotel group, the opening of the new Libo Park Inn marks the first international chain hotel to have a presence in the city.
