Hyatt is to open the second Heathrow property under its Hyatt Place brand early next year.

The group will rebrand the current Heathrow Hotel Bath Road (pictured) following “extensive renovation of the existing building”.

The hotel is located on the Bath Road to the north of Heathrow airport, around five minutes’ drive from Terminals 2 and 3.

Once rebranded the Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport will offer 350 rooms featuring the Hyatt Grand Bed, 42-inch HDTVs, free wifi and a Cozy Corner sofa-sleeper.

Other facilities will include a 24/7 Gallery Market, Coffee to Cocktails Bar, seven meetings spaces, a 24-hour gym, and the brand’s “Odds and Ends” service for “forgotten items that guests can buy, borrow or enjoy for free”.

Hyatt opened the Hyatt Place London Heathrow Hayes (located on Uxbridge Road, about a 20-minute drive from the airport) earlier this year. For more details on this property see First look: Hyatt Place London Heathrow Hayes.

The Hyatt Place London Heathrow Airport will be the fifth Hyatt branded hotel in the UK, joining Hyatt Regency Birmingham, Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill, Hyatt Place London Heathrow Hayes, and Andaz London Liverpool Street.
