AccorHotels’ ibis Styles property has made its debut in India today, in Goa.

The low-scale ibis Styles Goa Calangute is located within walking distance from Tivai beach, and popular restaurants and bars. The interiors are influenced by Goa’s Portuguese heritage, which have been given a contemporary twist.

All 197 Deluxe rooms (the only room category) face the pool and have a private balcony. They include a work desk, minibar,  free water bottles, 32-inch LED HD TV, coffee machine and rain showers. Wifi is free to all guests.

ibis Styles Goa Calangute has one bar and restaurant each. The all-day Spice It is a multi-cuisine restaurant with buffet breakfast and a la carte options for the other meals. Hub is the lobby-level bar that serves wines, cocktails and snacks.

There are also three meeting rooms, one business centre and a gym on the property.

Jean-Michel Cassé, the senior vice president of operations at AccorHotels India, says, “The opening of the ibis Styles Goa Calangute marks a strategic growth milestone for the group as we now have 43 hotels operating across a well-rounded portfolio of ten distinct brands in the country. Not only are we excited to introduce the ibis Styles brand to our guests in India, but we are also proud to share that we are now the largest hotel operator in Goa with a growing collection of midscale and in-demand economy brands presence.”

To celebrate its first property India, ibis Styles Goa Calangute is offering a 50 per cent off, on the second room, to families with kids who have booked a deluxe room night stay with breakfast for two. The offer expires on December 15, 2016.
