India’s Zones by The Park opens doors in Chennai

Indian hospitality group The Park Hotels has launched a new property in the coastal city of Chennai – the third hotel under its Zone by The Park brand. Zones by The Park Chennai is located in the new commercial district of Chennai, southwest India. Nearby attractions include Marian Beach, Pondy Bazaar, Chennai Turtle Walk and MGR Film City The property is 15 minutes from the international airport, which is served by international and Asia carriers including Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airlines and Singapore Airlines. London-based Project Orange designed the 36-guestroom and four-suite property, working in collaboration with Priya Paul, chairperson of The Park Hotels. Zones by The Park Chennai has four F&B outlets including The Bazaar, which is inspired by traditional market bazaars; Playa by Zone, the rooftop restaurant and bar; Urban Spice Box, a mixed-grill eatery, and Z-bar, a casual cocktail lounge. The property, which will compete in the mid-market Indian hotel segment, will also offers the Vitalia Spa & Fitness Centre featuring the latest fitness technology and a rooftop pool overlooking the city.
