Grosvenor House opens £1.4m lounge

Grosvenor House, A JW Marriott Hotel has opened its new Executive Lounge following a £1.4 million refurbishment. The facility, which is open daily from 0600 to midnight, has been moved from the London hotel's seventh floor to the ground floor and, at over 340 sqm, is three times the size. It contains a media wall, private shower and changing facilities, wifi, iPads, wireless printing and luggage storage. Stuart Bowery, the hotel's general manager, said: "The Executive Lounge is expertly designed for our accomplished business and leisure travellers, available exclusively for Executive and Suite guests, as well as our eligible, valued Marriott Rewards Members. "The lounge forms part of a £7 million investment this year, with the first set of newly-refurbished suites returning to inventory next month and further suites, plus two Royal Suites, opening in October."
